This promontory at Cape Blanco is representative of all land forms that provide physical vantage points.  From these we gain a perspective of the surrounding land and sea. 

As we walk through life we occasionally discover "vantage points" of a different kind.  These are the experiences that can broaden our view and, sooner or later, modify or more firmly establish our spiritual outlook and makeup.  These are the experiences that influence the way we live.
